Plot summary
A Beautiful Theory takes place in an abandoned university campus after a war in the near future, in which human population has been drastically reduced. The student protagonist escapes from the campus and meets a number of other students in the wilderness, and learns more about the world beyond the campus.
Reception
A Beautiful Theory has received mostly positive reviews.
Publishers Weekly called it "a promising debut."
The book is part of the Science Fiction Book Club.
